Paul & Shark is a luxury Italian clothing brand founded in 1975 by Paolo Dini, son of mill owner Gian Ludovico Dini. It is headquartered in Varese. Its CEO is Andrea Dini.
Paul & Shark collections are available throughout the world in 73 different countries, 458 cities and more than 280 Paul & Shark monobrand boutiques located in the most exclusive shopping areas, from Via Montenapoleone in Milan, to Rue du Faubourg St. Honore’ in Paris, to Dubai and Moscow.
The brand is inspired by the sail of an 18th-century clipper, inscribed with the words „Paul & Shark” seen during Dini’s visit to a small sailmaker’s workshop in Maine. GQ has called it „the sailing man’s sailing gear”. Its symbol is a shark.
